I started my specialization training in the Department of General Surgery in 1988. During this period, I became interested in Thyroid Surgery. Later, during the specialization process that started in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, cancer surgery became my special interest. I also did my thesis on this subject. During my academic career, I focused on Head and Neck Tumor Surgery and Thyroid Surgery.
